Established in 1959, SCST, Inc. is a professional engineering firm headquartered in San Diego with additional offices located in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Milwaukee. We are a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE). SCST has a diverse background working on a variety of projects in both the public and private sectors with substantial federal experience across the entire South Pacific and Midwest regions. The firm also operates four geotechnical and materials laboratories throughout the Southwest, including one of the most complete and sophisticated labs in San Diego County. SCST is comprised of over 130 professionals who provide geotechnical engineering, environmental science & engineering, special inspection & materials testing, and facilities consulting services. Environmental Project Manager

SCST, Inc. is currently seeking qualified Project manager candidates to support environmental remediation projects at former US Navy facilities in California. Duties include direct support to Navy BRAC projects at their offices located at Liberty Station, San Diego, CA. 
 
Position Requirements:
Engineering (Environmental or Civil preferred) or Geology undergraduate degree 
Professional registration (E.I.T, P.E., F.G, P.G, California preferred)
3-5 years professional experience in Project Management on environmental remediation projects
Experienced in CERCLA and RCRA regulations (RWQCB & DTSC knowledge beneficial)
U.S. citizen 
Ability to relocate to San Diego, CA
Ability to travel occasionally to Naval facilities within southwest US
Ability to obtain government security clearance
Ability to undertake a 1-3 year project commitment
OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER (OSHA 8-hr Supervisor Certification preferred)
MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Project scheduling experience (MS Project)

Marketing & Project Administrator

SCST, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified marketing and project administrator to support the marketing and engineering departments.  
 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
 
Marketing Administrator 
Provide technical editing of Geotechnical and Material proposals. 
Review budget estimates for accuracy. 
Prepare Professional Services Agreements (PSA).
Support marketing executives in organizing various projects.
Update spreadsheets, databases, and inventories with statistical, financial, and non-financial information.
Assist with management of company social media accounts.
 
Project Administrator 
Support Project Managers in contract management/compliance, invoice management, document control, and client meetings/coordination.
Prepare low break report letters as directed by Lab Manager/Supervisor for engineer review and signature.
Complete school final and interim verified reports needed for DSA closeout certifications (291’s, 292’s and 293’s). Upload all testing and inspection reports and final/interim verified reports to DSA Box website.
Coordination of project files through administrative team. This includes hard copy and electronic. 
Provides administrative support by assisting in report/presentation preparation, record maintenance and scheduling. Completes filing, data entry and general clerical duties, compiles reports, processes paperwork and administers processes in accordance with prescribed guidelines and procedures.
 
Backup Dispatch
Handle all incoming scheduling calls and dispatching of inspectors.
Maintain various spreadsheets for Directions, Inspector Lists, Pickups, etc. 
Provide customer service and support.
