Mary Lanyon Fay Elementary School, San Diego, CA

The new construction project was conducted under Proposition MM. The 6.3-acre site houses a new elementary school, which includes 32-classrooms, 61,000 square-feet of facilities, and parking to accommodate 58 vehicles. Other features consist of a joint-use field for soccer and baseball, a multipurpose room, library/media center, lunch shelter, elevator and accessibility features, kitchen, faculty lounge, workroom, and administrative center. SCS&T provided the following services:
 
Geotechnical Services: Observation & Testing of Grading, Underground Utilities, Backfill, Subgrade, Base Material, and Asphalt
 
Special Inspection & Materials Testing: Concrete, Masonry, Welding, Post-Tension Concrete
